Two Groups Hold Fundraisers for the GPSF
We would like to thank two groups who very generously took it upon themselves
to fundraise for the Foundation over the summer.
GHS Class of 1981:
This thoughtful group of GHS alumni planned to hold a golf outing as part of their class reunion, and then they took it one step further and decided to make it a fundraiser for the GPSF. During their planning, the golf outing grew even bigger when the Class of 1981 added
Budde’s Pizza night and a post golf outing fundraiser at Buffalo Wild Wings, which included a bags tournament, a 50/50 raffle, and a silent auction. This group worked very hard and rallied support from all over the community. When the last bag was tossed, the final total of the fundraiser was
$3,679.00! Please see our Facebook page for a list of the community sponsors for this event. We are very grateful for their support!
Ron Clark Academy Teachers:
This dedicated group of teachers used part of their summer to plan a “Let the Games Begin!” Fundraiser for the GPSF, to give back for our support of teachers and staff who attend the Ron Clark Academy each year. This event featured a DJ, card and board games, delicious food and desserts, a photo booth, a 50/50 raffle,
prize drawings, and Pie Face the Principal! By the end of the night, the RCA Teachers had raised $337.00!
